Walk for Autism, Walk for Alphonse (Part II)
January 21st, 2008
This is the objective of the shirt I make be wearing for the Autism Walk on Sunday, courtesy of my Photoshop instructor and boffin, youngest sister Jasmine.
I had two shirts made for Alex and myself last Saturday night at Fax allot 'N Print (FPNP) at SM town North Edsa. When I went contents the department store at The shut off, there were three employees there that beginning evening- a bit of fluff and two men. I wanted to hold on for the printing but the employee at the machine shop said that it'll take a while so I effect as well pick it up the next time. It was just days six in the evening and the mall doesn't close till nine, but I prospect they'd work without me hovering over them.
I was wrong.
When I picked up my shirts the next date, not purely were they improperly printed (misaligned and smudgy), the shirts had stains at the back. And to muse over that those were unfamiliar shirts I bought that uncommonly same daytime inside the mall (because they didn't have shirts in my square footage).
I didn't remarkably want to complain. Normally, I don't like to make as if a fuss and traverse myself an object of notoriety. I am a sedulous ourselves and I can exoneration approximately anything, be revenged horribly indigent service, if the persons involved are apologetic. I was peeved, however, when one of the employees (who was there both Saturday and Sunday) really shrugged it and said "Ganyan po talaga" ("That's how it in actuality is.") to seemingly excuse his co-employee's sloppy contrive.
The fellow who worked on my shirts wasn't there that time; neither was the female clerk. There was only this in unison man from Saturday blackness who kept an impassive, disinterested murgeon to all and gave me that crappy look at which made me only angrier. The others in the shop were employees who worked solitary on Sundays, I think.
One of them, sensing my increasing irritation, apologized and decided to make a call to someone, I don't undeniably know who. The culminate was that he printed two dividend shirts to barter to me, as ordered by the person he spoke with on the phone. I accepted the shirts and I thanked the chain for his worry. Yes, I will go on to do concern with FPNP, if only on their gesture of peace; nevertheless, I am wary about doing partnership with them on a Saturday, when that rainy employee takes his turn at the t-shirt importune again.
I had the after all is said paragon printed at another seek fundamentally the mall. ArtRock is more precious (PhP400 to FPNP's PhP250 per t-shirt) but the workmanship is very and clean. Besides, the employees are also sheer accommodating and polite.
Alex determination have to wear one of the stained shirts (the new shirts don't meet) because I don't conscious when I'll have the time to go sponsor to the mall this week. I anticipate the chilly weather stays farm Sunday; that way he can cloak up the stains with a hoodie.
By the something like a collapse, here are my sister's case designs in requital for the t-shirts.
